800 miles later! What a weekend!

Thursday we headed down to the Manti Temple to see the pageant with Jayson's parents. We took Joy and John and we all loved the show. It was a long drive but well worth it. The temple was beautiful and then we stayed in Provo overnight and let the kids swim the next day. On the way home we stopped at the cool new Harley-D store and Jayson and John both were eyeing down beautiful Harley's. (Don't worry I'll never let him have one..... cuz I think they are way too dangerous!!!) Then we drove back to Brigham and left the kids with Joy for the weekend and we ventured back down to Heber and Park City for a Dental Retreat for delegates and their wives. It was beautiful in the mountains and we had a great time with lots of food, a live concert by Kalai, and lots of visiting. A great big thanks to Joy who kept the kiddos. The kids love her way more than us...(no.. I am not joking, and we would be lost with out her. She is the BEST GMA and mom-inlaw! We love her pieces!!! I visited my brother Spencer who happened to be running the 160 mile Wasatch Back Relay. WOW..... We drove the last leg and watched as they ran some of the last leg from Heber over the Mt. to Park City. Jayson and I may try to put a team together next year. It looks killer and Spencer did a great job! After meetings Jayson and I headed back home watching the miles and discovering we had been over 800 miles in one weekend.(We could have gone to Cali) It was an awesome weekend and the kids and I topped it off with a fun trip with friends to the Brigham pool. I love summer and all the fun adventures!!!!!

Wow, what a roadtrip! You guys must be good at those. My kids are so naughty in cars that we avoid long roadtrips.... maybe in a few years we will better at doing fun stuff like that! I love the pics, as usual, you beautiful people!! Count your blessings to have good grandmas to watch your kiddos when you get away, that is awesome. I love seeing what you guys are up to!

Hey Jayson (probably through Melissa), I came across your blog somewhat randomly. You have a cute family! You may remember me from serving together in Novo Gama (bartering for hammocks and carrying garrafaos across town). It has been a while since I have been in touch with anyone from the mission. Check out our blog at jeffandshelly.blogspot.com.
