Baylee

Jayson is beginning to wonder about his other children. He says Jenna is the only one that makes the blog. Not true! Here are some pictures of Baylee that we took after school yesterday at grandpa's house.

We put her on an old Willy's Jeep that Jayson hopes to restore someday!

Today, We got to go to a musical that she and her classmates were in at school. She did such a good job. She played a chef! I also happened upon her baby book today and took a minute to look through it. I still can remember the first time her dad and I held her in our arms over eight years ago. It amazes me how time fly's bye. She is growing up and turning into a young lady. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so excited for her to grow up, but at the same time she always be my little girl!

Jenna's Kindergarten Round-up!

Today, was Jenna's big day at Baylee's school. She got to go meet all the teachers and other kids she will be going to school with.

This is what she choose to wear for her big day. The only thing missing in the picture is her sassy pink cowgirl boots she wore.

She is so excited to get to go to school with her big sister in the fall. She did get a little teary-eyed and told me how much she will miss her pre-school friends.

I can't believe how fast time has gone bye... my kids are growing up too fast. I love them all and I cherish each moment I have with them. They are definitely my sunshine!

Miss Jenna

This is my little firecracker JENNA. She was kind enough to pose for a minute!

She had just woken up after a long drive! I am lucky she wasn't crying... What a good sport she was.

Jenna has been into choosing her own attire lately. Thus.... the stripped tights, church shoes, a camo skirt, and her famous and very... wrinkled Mickey Mouse jacket. She pulls is off pretty good, don't ya think? What a cutie!

1..2..3.. Let's Try to SKI

Yes, We had geared ourselves up for an exhausting night of trying to teach our girls a thing or two about skiing! They did soooo good! We were extremely surprised, how effortless they made it look. We arrived just prior to night fall and stayed till closing at Wolf Mountain Saturday night. That was the perfect place to start them out learning. They had the best little bunny hill, which made mom and dad's life so much easier.
Jenna ripped down the little hill in nothing flat, with absolutely no fear. She, along with her little brother are our dare-devils! Baylee likes to play it a little more on the safe side. Jenna, on the other hand borderlines crazy! She was a very independent skier who thought she knew it all after her 2nd or 3rd time down. (She didn't want a thing to do with her mom and dad, except challenge them to a race down the hill.) Which, I am sad to say she usually won! She absolutely loved it, and the entire ride home Baylee and she thought and planned out every possible random holiday/or birthday they could think of in hopes to celebrate by going skiing again.

B train did a great job too! Her favorite part was how fast she could go. What a fun night for them. I still remember my first ski day with my dad at the BEAV when I was 5. What a treasured memory! Every kid should learn to ski!!! That night was probably one on the best family fun nights we have ever had. The kids had a ball and were on cloud nine. Oh yes, look closely below. Gavyn was going to hangout with uncle Jesse and play in the snow, but when he saw all of us, he begged and begged until we finally gave-in and got him a pair of ski's.

They didn't even have ski's or boots that were his size, so we took the smallest they had. He was better than all of us put together! He kept telling Jayson " Dad let go of me" and Jayson would and he would cruise down the hill almost faster than Jayson could keep up with him. As he was hauling down the hill he would laugh and giggle and say "WHEEEEEE!!!!!" and at the bottom would say, "lets do again" It totally blew me away how good he was at it. He is 2 and now loves to ski!
Jayson, and I got to go on a couple of runs all by ourselves--- Thanks to Jesse and some treats in the Lodge! This is a night I will never forget, what a fun family night!!!!

Daddy Daughter Date-- GO JAZZ!!!!

All day today Jenna has been asking, "Is it tonight yet?" She has been so excited because she and her dad went to the Jazz game tonight. She has been so eager to take her turn. Last week it was Baylee's turn to go. It is crazy how they fight for their father's attention. I don't think they care much about the game, but more that they get some alone time with dad. It is good for them to get some one-on-one time with their dad.

I called Jayson and he said she lost interest in the game from the get-go. (Just as I figured!) He said she was restless after they ran out of good food. First Ice cream, then popcorn and pretzels, nachos and don't forget the drinks.

The Jazz won, but Jayson said it was a blow out and not that great of a game. Jenna was sacked out most of the drive home, but I am sure she loved every minute of it being the center of attention for the night.

My Little Guy

So, for x-mas Jayson gave me a new camera and some photography classes. These are pics of my cute little guy. Look close he is practically freezing while his mother is trying to learn more about her camera. As you can see, his mom has much to learn and his posing days are not over.

We do have lots of fun and bonding time each day for 2 1/2 hours, When its just us! Both sisters are at school. We usually hang out and if he can talk me into it, we go eat at "Donalds" in his words and get him the classic chicken nugget happy meal. He is such a cutie and I enjoy him so much. He is at that age that everything he says cracks me up. I love listening and watching him try to explain something to me with those big brown eyes. He is so expressive! I love him. I love him! You are a cutie GAVYN!

SURFING IN JANUARY (A fun Friday night date!)

We had a killer date last night at the Larry H. Miller complex in Ogden. Jayson and Jeremy Davis planned a date for their lovely wives. We ate at the famous Pizza factory and then it was off to catch the waves. Oh man, was I ever nervous---(About surfing and getting ripped up, but more importantly about loosing the swimsuit that was triple knotted.) Luckily, Kim and I had no major problems with that. It totally kicked my butt the first round, but after about the third time I could at least stay on the board for maybe 20 sec. Jayson and Jeremy stayed on good, you know guys, they make everything look easy! They enjoyed surfing and took some pretty wild spills. Jayson and I are both sore as heck today from it though, but we would definitely do it again. It was so fun!I highly recommend it. A great applause and a special Thanks! for a wonderful night. Good Job Honey!!!

OUR Happy Holidays!

Our holidays were filled with cherished memories as we said goodbye to 2007 and said hello to 2008. Snow arrived at our house just in time to add that special touch and get us in the mood for Christmas. The kids and Jayson spent hours playing in the snow. They froze their little bodies to the bone and didn't want to come in. They had so much fun getting pulled around by their dad and the four-wheeler (a kid himself, who is stuck in a grown man's body). On Christmas Eve the kids got pj's from a fast little elf who must have left them at our door. Then we headed to Grandma "M"'s famous Nativity re-enactment. Baylee played her guitar and we sang Christmas songs as Grandpa set off fire-works in remembrance of the Saviors birth. We spent the night at our own home and woke up to a beautiful Christmas. It was a blessing to have a home to call ours, and a place to start our own little family traditions for Christmas. It was nice to wake up and just enjoy the moment. How blessed we are! Needless to say Santa found the kids. They were more than excited, and wished their mother would have let them sleep by the tree that night so they could see if Santa would find their house. I assured them that he would and he did. The girls got ipods, Nintendo DS, and lots of stuff that had High school Musical and Hannah Montana stuff on it. Our little guy Gavyn was mostly excited about the motorized John Deer tractor that he so wanted to drive through my nicely painted walls. Jayson got a pressure washer (Boring!!!!!) and as for me.... my husband knocked me off my feet with a heart felt special note and a 8 day cruise to the South Caribbean and a new camera. It was one of the best and definitely most cherished Christmas I have had. It amazes me how quick our kids are growing up and so many times I find myself wishing I could freeze time for just a moment. I have learned to cherish each moment along the way. Jayson and I spent time at the Jazz games, eating great food (like Joy's Christmas candy), spending time at our home with old friends, and laughing till we could laugh no more reminiscing about the good old days. We saw 3 movies and spent time with those we love. From the Christmas lights at the light park, to the sleigh ride at Hardware Ranch, and the peaceful stroll at Temple Square it was a memorable time. Our Holidays were more than Happy!
